30 Day Cleanse

The cleanse program I’ve created is a 30 day cleanse program for our Living Healthy Feeling Empowered essential oil & wellness community. This is only open to people in our oils community. You can become part of this community when you enroll with me or someone on our Living Healthy Feeling Empowered team.

In addition, this cleanse is focused on the supplements that doTERRA offers within the Cleanse & Restore Kit.

Here is the protocol we all follow during this 30 day cleanse:

This cleanse runs twice a year but you will have access to the private group right away when you join our Living Healthy Feeling Empowered oil community.
If you are wanting to cleanse right away, then I would recommend that you look at starting with the Cleanse & Restore kit.

When you get this kit it also includes your wholesale purchasing account. This enables you to purchase additional oils, supplements, etc throughout the year at 25% off.

You can head over here to order the Cleanse & Restore kit.

(If in another country you will want to head over here and message me.

Next, choose the wholesale customer option or the wellness advocate option if you’d like to share the oils with others.

Fill in the form and then on the next screen choose the Cleanse + Restore kit.

The last screen will ask you if you’d like to setup a Loyalty Rewards (LRP) order for the next month. This is NOT required but is a great way to earn free product with each monthly order. There is no minimum cost.

You’ll then receive a welcome email from me with some of our team’s content, links to our cleanse FB group, our other team programs, etc!

Love and light-Leah

A Natural “Sunscreen” Recipe

Okay, so I’ve been wanting to make my very own natural sunscreen. So I made it using these ingredients:

10 drops of lavendar

I also used a glass jar

1 tablespoon of pomegranate oil

3/4 cup of coconut oil-fractionated

2 tablespoons of shea butter

2 tablespoons of Zinc oxide

The steps I took:

Combined

all ingredients except zinc oxide in the jar. I then placed a saucepan with a couple inches of water on the stove over medium/low heat. Next, I placed the jar in the saucepan and stirred the contents until everything starts to melt. When the ingredients are combined, I then added the zinc oxide and stirred it really well. Fina

lly, I put the jar in a cool area. This is what I use to prevent sunburns for myself and my kiddo. 🙂

Just recently I’ve started using this diaper rash cream they just came out with because it has the ingredients that can help suppor

t against sun burns too.

DIY Dry Shampoo Spray with EOS

 16x9-dry-shampoo-spray-lifestyle-us-english-web

DIY Wet Spray Shampoo for Light or Dark Hair

  • 1/2 cup warm water (depending on size of container.. you could double this whole recipe).
  • Slightly less than 1/4 cup organic arrowroot powder.
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder (if you have dark hair). This smells delicious with Peppermint essential oil!
  • 3 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol depending on how big the container is.
  • Some essential oils 3-4 drops depending on if you are doubling the recipe or not. You can get some wonderful essential oils here!

What to do to use this spray: Mix all ingredients in a small spray bottle and shake well. Shake before each use and spray on roots or oily parts of hair. Let dry and style as you usually would.

When I do shampoo my hair once or twice per week I use this shampoo.

I only apply the shampoo to the roots and right by scalp… it will already get on the rest of the hair on it’s own. Then, I condition my hair once per week with this conditioner. I only apply it to the ends.

🙂 I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me. It is so wonderful to find more natural ways of taking care of our bodies! Click below for my DIY Dry Shampoo Spray Video!

Oh, yes! Shaving Cream is another great way to use your essential oils! This is perfect for men and women.

This DIY shaving cream uses some of the best oils for our skin which are Peppermint eo, Sandalwood eo, and Tea Tree oil/Melaleuca eo. Combining these amazing oils with shea butter and coconut oil will leave your skin smooth and moisturized. This is super easy to make by the way.

Okay so what ingredients?
⅓ cup shea butter
1/4 cup coconut oil
5 drops Sandalwood oil
6 drops Peppermint oil
5 drops Melaleuca oil
How did I do it?
    • I put each of the ingredients except for essential oils in double boiler.
    • When the ingredients had melted, then I removed this from heat and let it just sit for 5 minutes.
    • I then added essential oils and stirred until it was all combined.
    • Then, I let is sit until it hardened.

I also put it in the refrigerator to speed up the cooling process.

I then used a hand mixer and whipped shaving cream until it was light.

Then I put this in a container… you can pick one. I did use this one though—click here to see!

Natural Ways of Handling Cradle Cap and More

image001

What is cradle cap anyway?

Cradle cap is actually a build up of oil and dead skin cells on a baby’s scalp. It looks like dandruff, and is white or yellow. It doesn’t hurt, and can be caused by too much oil; this can be triggered by genetics, use of alcohol on scalp, or a yeast imbalance.

How can a parent treat this in a more natural way??

#1-I used a brush.

#2- I then used fractionated coconut oil

#3-I used an infant probiotic.

Essential Oils I utilized to treat my daughter’s cradle cap were Tea tree oil and Lavender

images Tea-tree-oil

The blend I made-I added one drop of tea tree oil and one drop of lavender eo with 2 tablespoons of fractionated coconut oil. Then, I mixed it together.

If you currently have no kiddos that are still babies, then you can actually use this same blend to promote soothing skin irritations.
